Secondly, having an auction house mule allows you to keep your auction house inventory separate from the items that your other characters have in their inventories. You don’t have to remember which items are flagged for posting or re-posting, or organize your inventory to keep those items separate. Auctions that don’t sell will come back to the auction house alt, instead of back to your main.
Finally, using an auction house alt also provides you anonymity. It’s possible that if you are involved in heavy trading or practices that some see as ethically questionable (such as trying to corner a market) some players may hold it against you. As far as damage goes all 3 are pretty close and it kind of depends on what your role is in the raid. Multi target DPS (see: not AoE, but like doting everything up) affliction is by far the best. If you want faster burst/single target with lower ramp up (spine of deathwing depending on your role), destro is going to be your spec, and it’s still pretty competitive with aff and demo.A lot of locks are demo/aff and switch based on fight, typically reforging/gemming for demo. For demo you want hit cap, haste to 1999 rating, then go mastery. I know really good locks that are all 3 doing different specs. I’ve been demo mostly in my raids because heroics have been healer heavy so sometimes I have to provide the spellpower buff.
Honestly, whichever spec you’re better at, you’ll do more 4.3 Highest Single Target Dps with at the moment. Until your gear levels are really high, the differences aren’t big enough at the moment from what I can tell. I also completely agree with Agg. I have very little xp as a Melee player in Best Melee Pvp Class 4.3. A little as Protribution, but have mainly stuck to casters and Holy Pally. That said, it may be easier for knowledgeable Melee PvPers to comment if you let the forum know why you can’t seem to get far as ret spec. For example, is it "closing on the enemy", "staying on them", "constant kiting", "lack of burst", "getting away when ganked" etc etc.Do you seem to have more trouble against certain classes ?It’s certainly premature to state any class will be OP at L85 PvP, so if posters know your general playstyle "problems" they would be better positioned to advise on a suitable class.

Frost mages are op as of now. I did arena with a sub rogue yesterday. Let’s just say no one even got close to me while I massacred them. But if you want to level a character just go with one that suits your play style. Frost mages are getting nerved in the next patch anyway so it doesn’t matter.
